Varies: The mastectomy would take about an hour, but the reconstruction time would vary based on technique. Tissue expanders for later implants would be another 1-2 hrs, give or take, but free flap tissue transfer reconstruction can take several hours. These general times are variable based upon patient habitus and surgeon differences. Good luck.

Depends on the type: There are different types of mastectomy: simple, skin sparing and nipple sparing (where the nipple is NOT removed). The skin and nipple sparing take longer but the results are amazing. Breast density and size make a difference in how long it takes to do the suregery. With your age, check with your surgeon to see if nipple sparing is an option.

Depends on the: type of reconstruction, local findings, surgical team, and body habitus. But if it is a TRAM flap, probably 4-5 hours at least.
