Yes and no: If the surgery was recent no that is very normal soon you start ambulating more and start passing gas and having more normal bowel movement the bloating will subsided if it have been a while depend on your symptoms if the bloating making you sick and start vomiting you need to go to the er or see your physician make sure you do not have any kind of obstruction.
