Right after intercourse, i have had pain in the right lower side of the abdomen and nausea and i'm still feeling a slight pain and bloating, and i'm concerned that it might be something serious. what are the possible reasons for this pain ?

It may just be coincidence or from abdominal muscular strain which occurred during intercourse. Right lower abdominal pain,especially with associated tenderness, is characteristic of appendicitis. Another possibility is some form of pelvic pathology such as a ruptured ovarian cyst. Have a physician examine you in the emergency room if the pain persists.
