A member asked:

I sustained a head injury about a year ago and i still feel headaches and sharp pains occasionally. could these be more than migraines?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Headaches: In this context, such pains are unlikely to be migraine. Most likely is that some arthritis has set in after the injury. There could also be some scars in the connective tissue (ligaments) or muscles that are contracting and causing aches. Stretching exercises are likely to be very helpful, particularly in the shower with moist heat or a heating pad.
