Blunt trauma: Internal bleeding comes is many forms. A blow or trauma is common cause. Fall and spleen is torn. Car wreck and kidney is torn. There are many other causes of internal bleeding, associated with blood thinners, aneurysms and vascular disease. If you have abdominal pain, a trauma or you are taking blood thinners don't delay, get evaluated. Be well.

The most: common cause is probably over-anticoagulation. But usually there is some abnormality that can pre-dispose one to bleeding.
