Yes: These are veins that were small before but have grown to larger size after the other abnormal veins have been removed. Usually takes years for new veins to appear. Can be removed if needed, just like the originally removed veins.

Varicose Veins: No, the same veins are not re-appearing, as once a vein is removed it is gone forever. What is occurring is that new varicose veins are growing off of a deeper underlying vein that was never treated. Vein growth is similar to a tree. If you only remove a branch, but leave the roots & trunk, more vein branches will grow back. Seek a vascular surgeon to get an ultrasound & treat the underlying cause
