Hello, i suffer from varicose veins. do i need surgery?

No: Surgery is almost never indicated. If done, it is usually for cosmetic purposes.

The treatment of varicose veins depend on many factors including amount of veins, symptoms and presence of venous reflux. Sometimes veins are treated conservatively with exercise and support hose and sometimes vein closure may be necessary.
