Could lupus cause enlarged optic nerves?

Lupus can...: Systemic lupus erythematosus can cause optic neuritis which can enlarge the nerves secondary to inflammation, but you would have eye and/or visual issues as well. Simply seeing this on MRI may mean nothing at all.
