Could a pinched nerve in a neck cause numbness in the body and face?

No: Pinched nerve in neck causes numbness and tingling in one or both arms depending on the side of pinching. The numbness on face and body suggests problem on the opposite side of brain.

Possible: Forties male suspects neck nerve pinch as causal of "face and body" pain. If pain is localized to one shoulder and arm and same sided lateral cheek region this is a pattern sometimes associated with thoracic outlet syndrome. A neurologist is the best specialist to diagnose. The given description should be more precise as to body regions affected and pain characteristics.

Not exactly: Would NOT cause numbness in face, and not throughout body either. Unless you are compressing spinal cord, your usual pattern would cause numbness in right or left arm.
