Probably OK: A small drop of red blood on your stool or toilet paper is most likely from a hemorrhoid. These are small dilated blood vessels that can form near the anus as a result of constipation, sitting for long periods of time, or after having a baby. They are fragile and bleed easily. You should see a doctor who can easily take a look and tell you if that's the problem. Blood in stool? See a doc!
