See answer: The vulva is subject to a range of skin problems which are highly treatable, but the treatment depends on the specific cause. Local irritants and allergens, of which there are many, are most common cause of vulvar dermatitis. Vulvar eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, and lichen sclerosis are specific dermatitis types that can cause red patch. Topical steroids most common rx. Recommend gyne exam.
