Your surgeon knows: Ask this question to your surgeon who will likely do your surgery. A 5 cm tumor is fairly large but it is not all that uncommon to have most cases of cancer range between 2 to 5 cm. When you meet with your doctor go prepared with a list of questions to ask so that you can get some answers.
