Pancreatitis: Pancreatitis can be acute or chronic, however the underlying cause is very important. Alcohol can cause pancreatitis. Gallstones can cause pancreatitits. There are several other causes. Take friend or family with you to your doctor to understand the cause of your pancreatitis. Ercp or other imaging of your bile and pancreatic duct need to be done. Vomiting and fever means go to er. Be well.
