Without anesthesia?: It has been with anesthesia. Otherwise you would have been dead. Light bleeding is fine.

If in doubt - ER: Depends on the severity of bleeding. Swallowing blood can make you sick to your stomach. Any dressings/ tampons etc.? If it isn't worse since you were discharged home, it might be ok. If worse, if there is any history of bleeding disorders in you or family, of any other general symptoms, like dizziness, lightheadedness etc. - see a doctor.
