Dry Skin: Areolas can get dry in the winter just like other skin. Use a scent-free lotion or ointment like eucerin calming cream. If you notice anything else with that breast: discharge that is red or greenish, red tender or swollen areas, palpable lumps, or if the skin starts to look like an orange, see your physician. Also, women's breasts are rarely symmetrical, so having a larger areola is normal.
