KAWASAKI DISEASE...: I assume the child is in the hospital still. Kawasaki disease needs lot of medical attention, prolong treatment and follow ups. Have patience, follow the advise of the pediatrician and pediatric cardiologist.

IVIG "resistance": I am assuming that your baby has had standard therapy for kawasaki disease, which is IV immunoglobulin. Do you know if he/she has coronary artery aneurysms? That is an important variable. Longer fever persistence is associated with more coronary aneurysms. Additional therapies to consider are steroids, where the evidence is mixed, or tnf inhibitors, which appear to have positive effects.

Work up /mgt: If there is persistent fever, I would suggest screening for infection and also a cardiac work up. Your physician will guide whether your baby needs aspirin therapy.
