Acute dystonic rxn: You are describing an acute dystonic reaction. It is where a group of muscles goes in tight spasm or a charlie horse that can affect virtually any part of the body including the eyeballs. It can be painful and extremely frightening. It is both treatable and preventable. However, the treatments themselves come with their own side effects.
