Geodon (ziprasidone) side effect?: Potential side effects with geodon/ziprasidone and other atypical neuroleptics include muscle stiffness and spasm. This type of reaction does not go away, as many side effects do. If present, discuss this with your doctor. Benedryl can help but is not safe for asthmatics. If any muscle spasm is present, particularly in your upper body/head/neck, call your doctor asap.
