Take a look: Shingles will present a band of clustered small blisters ; sores with scabs extending from the spine to the middle of the abdomen, including 1/2 inch across the midline. This will correspond to the distribution of a spinal nerve. You are already taking Valtrex (valacyclovir) for it, so your dr must think you have it. If in doubt, see a dermatologist.
