Omeprazole and escatalopram. leaflet says interact. does it just mean don't take at same time, or meds shouldn't be used in conjunction at all?

They are both: Processed through the cyp2c19 metabolic pathway. You can be tested to see if you metabolize drugs via this pathway too slow, too fast, or just right. The company is called genomind. They also test other important pathways that many meds go through. If you are one of the abnormal metabolizers, the drugs will not work, or could build up toxic side effects if too slow.Recommend mthfr genotyping.
