See answer : It is likely you are referring to the results of an ultrasound (doppler) of the neck and inguinal areas where a mass (lump) has been detected. Masses may be infectious, inflammatory, benign, cancerous, etc., all of which have different though overlapping characteristics. Not enough information available to provide more insight and best to review test results with your md who ordered the test.
