Not always: Some exercises help but many with fibromyalgia (fms) have adrenal fatigue ; aerobic exercise can worsen that. Stretches/gentle conditioning helps. Please consult a holistic md with experience with fms- see http://bit.Ly/19pettq dr. Teitelbaum's program is proven to help- see http://www.Endfatigue.Com/ i strongly recommend his book from fatigued to fantastic! which outlines a comprehensive program.

Often: There is no question that aerobic exercise is one of the basic treatments of fibromyalgia. It may not be sufficient just by itself but it certainly helps in most cases.
