How's your...: ...B12 levels? Are you getting your shots? Many things can lead to numbness but severe B12 deficiency can be a cause of neuropathy. Talk to your doc please.

Neuropathy Common: Make sure your serum b-12 is normal. You may need to switch to methylcobalamin rather than the more common cyanocobaliman. Also important are supplementing with folate (folic acid). Many people (40%) convert Folic Acid into the active form methylfolate (folic acid) and need to take it in the converted form. Check with your doctor to see if this applies to you. You may also need pyridoxal phosphate, the active form of b-6.

Could be neuropathy: Pernicious anemia means anemia caused by primary B12 deficiency (body not able to absorb b12). This vitamin is also important for the health of the nerves, hence deficiency can cause neuropathy or tingling/numbness in you toes/feet. It can cause trouble with the nerve sensing your balance, thus you may have trouble feeling balanced on your feet when on your feet etc..Consult doc. Good luck.
