Please see your: Doctor to rule out physical causes of the anxiety. It is also imperative that you get in quickly to see a psychiatrist that can get your symptoms under control asap. Most people who never had a panic attack have any clue how painful they are. It is obviously wearing you down. We have excellent treatments available, some to calm the symptoms very quickly and others for more long-term control. There are plenty of good psychiatrists where you live in illinois.Your psychiatrist can refer you to a psychotherapist who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy which will benefit you more after the acute symptoms of died down .The therapist will also teach you relaxation techniques.
