Lexapro (escitalopram): It could do that. You should talk to the doctor that prescribed this medication before you change the dosage.

Yes: I've seen other patients who had side effects to 10 mg and lowered to 5 mg w/o a problem. But clear this w/ your doctor first. Best wishes.
