Calcium shoulder: Calcium deposit in shoulder is mostly benign and does not cause pain. When it causes pain, it means it is large, inflamed, pinching rotator cuff bursa or ruptured and leaking. Please apply cold compress, bengay patch, and take ibuprofen. If the pain is severe, get steroid injection. It is recurrent and can be taken out arthroscopically. Pls. Have second ortho opinion. Thanks.
