See doctor: A patient on dialysis fell on her knees and now can barely walk. See a doctor and plan for x-rays of the knees. Remember renal failure and dialysis causes changes including bone resorption so a fracture is possible.

Serious: At. 85 years of she a fall can be serious. It could be a bruise which will gradually resolve. It is important to consider more serious conditions like collection of blood in the knee joint, fracture of the patella or other parts if the knee or disruption of internal or external ligaments . See your pcp or an orthopedics surgeon who may order further investigations.
