Why does my body shake violently while i try to fall asleep?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Myoclonus jerks: It is common to have involuntary jerk in a limb or entire body when you are falling asleep. It happens in the initial stage of sleep and is entirely benign. Even babies have it.
