Here's my idea: This pathologist's personal definition follows freud: having a mind and body that allow you to work, to play, and to love others. Disease being factors on or within the skin that interfere with our doing this. Being allowed to choose your own path through life is a key to health in the larger sense. You may have a different definition, or not want to bother.
