Can you give an advice on what is the easiest and cheapest way to reduce weight?

Diet ; exercise: Daily walk about 45 minutes and eating a diet based on your calories consumption vs intake is the cheapest and time tested . I am not sure of it is the easiest. It requires lot of determination!
