I was wondering what are the molecules associated with invasion and metastasis?

Complex issue: This is an area of research which has many theories but no proven markers. We currently assess this by grade of the tumor and invasivnesss of the vascular and lymphatic strucures as well as invasion of the lymph nodes and the evidence of extra-capsular(extra-nodal) spread of the tumor , all of which suggest a more invasive and more aggressive tumor which will likely recur and spread far and wide.
