High potassium level: To answer your question properly about lowering your potassium (k) level, you need to know why it is elevated. Do you have chronic kidney disease? Are you taking nsaid's, such as ibuprofen? Are you are drugs that a cause the k level of the blood to increase? See a physician and you may be able to find the cause and a resolution to your problem of high k levels.

May be due to meds: You need to review your medication. Some medications such as ace inhibitors used to treat high blood pressure can cause high potassium. Eat less fruits and vegetables. See your doctor.
