Not specifically: However, being comfortable and expressive with your feelings can be advantageous. If it is uncontrollable and/or without good reason, speak to your physician. If it is normal, when you get sad about specific event, it is favorable to express your emotion in a healthy manner and not bottle them up.

Crying can be : Emotionally cathartic. Studies show that v tension ; negative affect occur during crying. Crying may suppress contentious behavior.
