Carpal tunnel syndr.: Most likely - carpal tunnel syndrome, from typing too much or other repetitive hand motions. Try sleeping with wrist splints u can buy in a pharmacy. If they don't fit well get a custom-made one from phys. Therapist. If splints don't help, a steroid injection will. If overweight, weight loss helps. Blood test for thyroid and vit. B12 deficiency. Try b complex vitamins.

Possibly CTS: May still be carpal tunnel syndrome; however, there are a number of other conditions to consider. Talk to your doctor about which tests to order next. A nerve conduction study might be helpful.
