No: I don't think any doctor would cauterize your cervix due to mucus production. Sometimes when there's a lot of discharge being produced it's due to inflammation. It's better to find out what the cause of the information is rather than to cauterize the cervix. Sometimes this can be a low-level bacterial or mycoplasmal infection.
