Meds which ↓Sugar: Though most also create additional problems. Sulfonylurea meds response ? within 1-2 yrs & accelerate dm, they & esp. Insulin can easily drive blood sugar too low. Many others. The best agents currently available are the glp-1 analogues, victoza (liraglutide) & bydureon. Also symlin (makes Insulin more effective without too ?blood sugar) plus these ?apatite & ?wt. Loss. Sglt2 inhibitor likely approved soon.
