Er for an infection in my toe with red streaks. iv and oral antibiotics. it hurts but looks better. can i exercise? i am otherwise healthy. 36 hours.

See below: Unfortunately i don't see what your toe looks like it this point but i would probably wait to your infection in your toe completely resolves . Therefore avoiding any sweat or perspiration on your foot which would come with excessive exercise activities while wearing sneakers. I guess you can do some thorough bands were some light dumbbell weightlifting to keep your muscles tone while you improve from your infection. Please follow the recommended course of antibiotics to its entirety and follow up with your treating physician to make sure your infection is completely eradicated. Good luck thank you.

Infection: As stated , without your toe and you to evaluate that is a really hard call. Follow up with the treating physician for that decision.
