Nerves: There are a number of nerve, perhaps the mental nerve, called this because it comes from your chin, that can affected. Why? May be something as simple as a dental issue or something more concerning. Health conditions such as sjogrens and lupus can affect nerves of the mouth. I am no dentist, but apparently oral cancers may be subtle sometimes? Have your doctor give your mouth a thorough check.
