For three days, have had a small swollen spot left of my chin above jaw bone. i say "spot" because it doesn't feel like a pea or something particularly round. have been having numbness that comes and goes in my left side of lips and left chin/cheek?

Something is definitely wrong and you need to be checked by a dentist or dental surgeon immediatey. Please do not delay. Numbness affecting the lips needs to be evaluated because of the possibility of bone and nerve damage.
