I have had a dry throat consistently for a few days. water doesn't help. what do i do and what is this?

Likely from Paxil (paroxetine): It is very possible that Paxil (paroxetine) is the culprit. But other possible causes could be chronic mouth breathing, and autoimmune/rheumatologic issues. Discuss this with your doctor and do not stop the Paxil (paroxetine) unless discussed with the doctor.
