Not sure what u mean: I am not sure what you mean when you say "monoculars". I assume you mean single glass lenses instead of bifocals. If that's what you mean, then there is no answer to your question. The answer is "whatever makes you more comfortable and happy". Some monocular patients love bifocals, and some don't. It's a personal preference only you can answer.

Unclear: A stroke in the eye will cause vision loss in that eye only. A stroke in the brain usually causes vision loss in the same area of both eyes. I am unclear what you define as a "monocular" but if you have lost vision in either of these ways, you should get the best regular eyeglasses for vision. Check with your ophthalmologist to obtain these.
