Reaction: The pain in your chest is probably a reaction from the analgesic, you should stop it and call your dentist for a lighter meds. , but go on the antibiotic regiment ..

Meds: In Dentistry antibiotics and analgesics usually given to slow down the spread of infection from a bad decayed tooth. It's the 1st set in treatment that is then followed by root canal or extraction. Pills alone will not cure an infected tooth. Go back to your Dentist for appropriate treatment.
