The answer is: Usually yes, especially if the impacted teeth are causing problems such as infection, pain, or damage to the adjacent tooth or periodontal tissues. Consult w your dentist on the rationale for removal.

Depends: Whether or not you should or should not have your impacted teeth removed will depend upon your symptoms if any, your age, position and development of the impacted teeth, whether or not they have associated pathology or causing or contributing to problems with adjacent teeth or structures. Every patient is different and should have a rational reason for the removal of an impacted tooth.
