Are you better?: You have been waiting awhile so i hope you did get seen and get the strep throat treated. First call your ob. Second you could be seen by your regular doctor or at an urgent care center or the hospital....You are correct tho to be seen to rule out strep.

Depends on variables: Strep throat can be confirmed through a simple office test by your pcp over the next few days and you would not put yourself or baby at risk by waiting. If you have been avoiding this for a week and are approaching 9 days of symptoms, i would go to a urgent care center.
