Help me please! there's a small stress fracture in heel. how do you treat this?

It needs to be pro--: Tected in a cast (or a splint if its too swollen initially) for at least 8-12 weeks. Seeing a podiatrist or foot ankle doc would help to have this taken care off. Good luck.

Time ; patience: The treatment involves non weight bearing ; wait 4 it 2 heal which may take up 2 a year. As we r a walking people ; only 2 legs, that means crutches 4 a long time. I usually followed the progress using ct's as time passes. As the fracture line becomes poorly cn on x-ray, , ct will allow better visualization to judge healing. Bone scans will b+ 4 up 2 a year or more after healing. Good luck!
