You need exam: 2nd degree burn can vary widely. Deep 2nd acts more like a 3rd, superficial 2nd acts more like a 1st. Treatment (at the least) would be cleansing frequently with soap/water, removing any dead skin/tissue, and coverage with antibiotic oint like silvadene (silver sulfadiazine). All of this can vary with size/location/depth. If the injury is bigger than a quarter, has inc. Redness, or is over a joint- get to a burn dr.
