A member asked:

If i have allergies to dust, do i need to hire a housekeeper?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Most who are allergic to dust are allergic to dust mites which are one of the components of dust. Dust, as an aside, is a very complex microenvironment filled with dust mites, pollens, animal allergens, molds, bacteria and other detritus. Dust mite covers for bedding are very effective. Wet dusting can be helpful and most newer vacuum cleaners have hepa filters built in.
