Not necessarily: When we are at quiet times and our minds are not preoccupied with a lot of things, we can feel the pain of something more, and that is well-known. That may be the cause. Got to your doctor and have it treated and if only the pain, have it controlled. It may not just be UTI but other things, even a stone.

Pain: Two issues. First, you really need to see a doctor asap. The symptoms you describe have the potential to be due to a very serious condition. Secondly, pain is often worse at night because you are inactive, your mind focused on only the pain, and it keeps you awake. It may not really be worse but feels that way. Am really concerned about your other symptoms. Please go and see somebody today, . Best.
