No: Worry will only cause stress, which is never a good thing. Prevention of future tia's or stokes include medication to help thin your blood, keeping regular doctor appointments to assure your blood pressure and cholesterol levels are managed well, as well as overall staying healthy with dieting and exercise to prevent conditions like diabetes, etc. Best wishes.

TIA and Stroke: Tia symptoms can be like stroke causing facial droop, weakness or numbness on one side of the body, balance problem and others. These symptoms should lead to a call to 911. If the symptoms go away within 24 hrs and MRI scan of brain is normal then it is TIA otherwise a stroke. A present TIA is a warning for future strokes. A neurologist can help in assessing future stroke risk and prevention.
