A member asked:

Read from other users that if u take lexapro (escitalopram) bfr bed you won't have lack of orgasm versus taking in the am. is this true or wats the best way?

Not true.: Taking Lexapro (escitalopram) at different times of the day won't affect your ability to have orgasm. Decreased libido/sexual drive is a known possible side effect of lexapro; talk to your doctor about this, as they will probably recomemend changing your medication.

Not true: There is no evidence to confirm if it is true. You can take it in am or pm but take the same time daily.

Switching timing is: Worth a try. Other options include augmentation with wellbutrin, (bupropion) viagra (usually requires 100mg dose for women), yohimbine, bethanechol, amantadine, cyproheptadine, nefazodone, psychostimulants, buspirone, lowering the dose, switching to a different drug. Feel free to read the exhaustive commentary on this at www.Medscape.Com/viewarticle/430614_5? also make sure doc rules out non-drug causes.
